Susan Maryn
Studio Director
Susan is a graduate of Texas Woman’s University with degrees in Dance and Radio/Television Production. She has choreographed and performed for numerous television shows, commercials and stage productions. She has performed with the Dallas Civic Ballet, Havana Fama and many USO tours throughout the United States and overseas.Susan is also a graduate of the Los Angeles Trade Tech Nursing program and holds active credentials as a Registered Nurse. She’s also an expert seamstress and in her spare time enjoys designing and making costumes. She has won numerous trophies for her costume designs in both regional and national dance competitions!

Breilyn Brantley
Tap, Jazz, Ballet, & Combination Classes
Brei started her dancing career at Cypress Academy of Dance and Gymnastics in Houston, Texas at the age of 3, taking tap, ballet and jazz. She later was a member of the competition team and concert dance group at Joee School of Dance where she studied ballet, tap jazz. Lyrical and modern dance. Brei also began her teaching career at Joee’s where she taught 3rd and 4th graders. In 1995 she became a member of Keith Cross’s Texas Dance Theater Company where they performed in the show, “Dance Salad” along with members of the Houston Ballet and Belgium Ballet Companies. She continued her studies of dance and teaching at Colby College in Waterville Maine and became a member of the CDT dance Company and both performed and choreographed tow main stage productions. She also helped develop a community service project to provide dance classes for Waterville students.

Robert Calderon
Business Manager and Instructor
Robert has an extensive background in dance and enjoyed performing at a young age with his sister at his neighborhood dance studio recitals. Robert later studied at the Edge Dance Center in Hollywood with many top choreographers in the industry. Robert appeared on the hit TV show, “Fascilisimo!” and was a choreographer/performer with “Havana Fama Dance and Theatrical Company”. Robert’s students have won many awards at local dance competitions throughout the Southland.

Rosanna Perez
Office Manager
My name is Rosanna. I started working with Fox Studio in October 2017 as an office manager. I enjoy working with children and meeting all the new friendly faces that come to the studio. From doing office portion of the job to watching the children learning all their dance and gymnastics skills. It’s amazing to see how talented these kids truly are.

Rosie King
Tumble Tots, Tumble Bears, Gymnastics
Rosie has always loved working with the “little ones” and has been coaching gymnastics from the tiny tots through school age levels for many years.Rosie’s love for teaching show’s through her enthusiasm in each and every class! Rosie also works as a children’s entertainer at parties performing both as a magician and “wowing” kids with her amazing animal balloon sculptures!

Verneé Watson
Emmy Winning Acting Instructor
Ms. Vernee’ has been a seasoned actress for many years and has appeared in literally hundreds of TV shows, commercials and movies throughout her career. Best known for her role as Will Smith’s mom in “Fresh Prince of Bel Air”, she has also been on “Welcome Back Kotter”,“Jessie”, “Aunt Farm”, “Two and a Half Men”, and currently has a recurring role on daytime’s “General Hospital”. Many of her students have gone on to professional careers “in the biz”!

Sarah Neisler
Ballet and Contemporary
Born in Houston, Texas, Sarah Neisler began her dance training at the age of 5 at Kennedy Dance Theatre. In her time there, and under the direction of Milena Leben, Sarah trained in the Vaganova Ballet method, as well as training in other styles of dance, including Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, and Contemporary. Sarah competed in many competitions, including Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP). Sarah supplemented her training by attending The Bolshoi Ballet Academy Summer Intensive, training under faculty from the academy in Russia. Sarah attended the University of North Carolina School of the Arts for college and trained in a variety of both Ballet and Modern dance techniques. She graduated in the spring of 2018 and immediately began dancing with San Diego Ballet that fall. After a full season, Sarah moved to Los Angeles where she currently dances with the Pacific Ballet Dance Theatre.

Megan Betley
Gymnastics
Megan hails from Wilmington, Delaware and received her education at West Chester University of Pennsylvania, New York University and the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles. Megan was a competitive gymnast and coached recreational and competitive gymnastics for several years at Olympiad Gymnastics Center in Delaware before moving to Los Angeles.Megan is also a very talented singer and song writer in her spare time!

Lauryn Rodriguez
Hip-Hop, Jazz, Tap, Ballet, & Gymnastics
My name is Lauryn Rodriguez. I have been dancing/doing gymnastics for 17 years. I started training at Fox Studio with gymnastics, tap, ballet, & hip-hop. Further down the line, I studied with Jayvee Dance Center dancing tap, jazz funk, contemporary, and hip-hop. I competitively danced Hip-Hop with Teen Groove, Junior Hit-List, and Downey Dance Team. I also studied with GRaVy babies for a season, being exposed to many different styles of Hip-Hop, and training intensively. From there I branched out to teaching at Downey High School as a CTE assistant for their Dance 2 program, focusing on choreographing a Contemporary Recital Piece and cleaning two routines. After graduating, I studied the History of Hip-Hop at Long Beach City College, as well as the general History of Dance. I taught and wrote the curriculum for Barbizon of Hollywood’s Dance Program. I have also taught at local studios such as Onstage Dance Center, Art Dance Academy, Hands4Hope LA, and teaching at a public school program for the Riverside Arts Council. Now I teach for a private gym company, GroovinKids owned by Katy Cryns and plan on enjoying my time here at Fox Studio again, completing my full circle back at my home studio.

Louie Martinez
Hip-Hop, Jazz, Ballet and Contemporary
Louie has been Directing, Teaching, performing and choreographing for the past 20 years. He is a graduate of the Edge Performing Arts Center Scholarship Program 2003 - 2004 has performed nationwide and can be seen on Tv shows for MTV, CBS, FOX, VH1, Food Network and many others. Louie has also worked with Celebrities such as Angelina Jolie, Selena Gomez, Nick Jonas, Nick Cannon, Foo Fighters, Ru Pauls Drag Race Star Alaska and others. Louie now runs a dance department at a private school, and competes in the Ballroom Dance World. Lastly Louie is also a Pro Wrestler known as "The King of the Floor" Louie 54.

Kiana Delgado
Gymnastics, Acro, Jazz, Ballet, Lyrical, and Contemporary
Kiana Delgado has been dancing since she was 4 years old and competing since the age of 9 with Fox Studio Dance and Gymnastics. She was trained in Gymnastics, Acro, Jazz, Ballet, Lyrical, and Contemporary, and to further her training, she danced with other studios and choreographers. She was on her high schools dance team for 4 years where they competed in High School level competitions. She is in college furthering her education in getting a bachelors degree in Child Development and Adolescent with a minor in dance.

Orlie Smith
Hip-Hop, Contemporary, Jazz, and Ballet
Orlie Smith is an LA native who adores teaching, sharing and engaging with other creatives! Her styles of dance training include: Hip Hop, Contemporary, Jazz, and Ballet. Orlie has been dancing for 12 years. In 2020, she graduated from the University of San Francisco with a BA in Performing Arts & Social Justice. She established her career in the Bay Area as an instructor for RAE Studios SF, and was a member of the Str8jacket Dance company of San Mateo. Since Orlie’s return to LA in 2020, she has continued her dance journey with the HAUS of Kao and currently works as an instructor with SOHO Dance LA. Her personal dance style includes a fusion of diversified dance genres and various cultural elements.

Jenny Camacho
Jazz, Ballet, Modern, Contemporary, Hip-Hop, and Lyrical
Jenny Camacho began dancing at the age of five and at the age of eight began private lessons. She continues to study jazz, ballet, modern, contemporary, hip hop, and lyrical. She was a member of Downey High School’s competitive dance team and won multiple national titles. She was also awarded 1st place in the state for her choreographic piece with the Reflections association. Jenny graduated from Cerritos college with an A.A in kinesiology with an emphasis in dance. She was accepted to California State University of Northridge to receive her B.A. Jenny has performed professionally around the U.S with KAR dance conventions. She has danced for multiple halftime shows for professional teams such as Clippers and Chivas. She continues to perform at her university’s main stage and other dance productions. Jenny also had the privilege to work with the Martha Graham Dance company and attend their workshops. She began choreographing and teaching for competitive dance studios as a teenager. She has also professionally choreographed for Downey High Schools dance team and Lighthouse Sports Center. Jenny is excited to share her knowledge and love for the art of dance at Fox Studios. She is looking forward to spreading her passion to the next generation of dancers.

We strive to provide good service and take care of all the “details” of attending classes and lessons so they are “hassle-free” and enjoyable. We create a wonderful environment which allows students to progress at their own pace and gain the understanding of their craft.
